www.hse.fi is a web service maintained by the Aalto University School of Economics. For more information on the School of Economics, visit the About us section.
The website is published in Finnish and English, but the content is not identical in both languages. You can toggle between the language versions by clicking the language link on the top of the page.
Using the service
You can search for information by subject matter or by using either the keyword search or the advanced search. Each page has access to the search function. The path appearing on the top of the page indicates your position within the website.
Each page has access to the corresponding page in the other language. If there is no corresponding page in the other language, you will be directed to the next corresponding page upwards in the structure. The site map shows the first three levels of the site’s structure, for instance Services – Educational services – MBA Program.
The text can be zoomed from the browser’s menu.
The site’s Print page function will shortcut to the Print dialog box. The function requires JavaScript. Printing can also be started from the browser’s menu, which does not require JavaScript.
The site’s links open in a new browser window if the data are located outside the hse.fi site. You can get back to the HSE website by closing the new window.
Reading the pdf files contained on the website requires the free Acrobat Reader software, which can be downloaded from Adobe’s website http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
Technical performance
The website is designed to perform best at a resolution of 1024x768 and is optimized for Internet Explorer version 5.0 or later, Netscape Navigator version 7 or later, Mozilla browsers and Firefox.
