Ethical Challenges in Global Business
Team coordinator: Johanna Moisander, Marketing, Aalto University School of Economics
The research team explores the ethical and political challenges that globalization poses for Finnish society and economy. Drawing from the literature on political philosophy, business ethics, corporate social responsibility and management studies, the team works towards a better understanding of the roles and responsibilities that different market actors and institutions have in the cultural, political and economic processes of globalization through which the competitiveness of Finnish firms and entrepreneurs is shaped in the present-day global economy.
The focus of interest, in particular, is on the ways in which globalization transforms the division of moral labor in Finnish market society.
