Dr Anne Herbert, assistant professor, and until 2009 director of quality and accreditation, at Aalto University School of Economics, recently received the 2009 Bud Fackler Service Award from the Executive MBA Council.
Anne Herbert has been actively involved in the academic development of the international HSE Executive MBA portfolio. The Executive MBA Council recognized Herbert especially for her efforts to expand the reach of the Council globally. She has chaired the professional development committee of the Council, facilitated European meetings, organized international training programs, advised, supported and mentored individual program staff in many countries.
The Executive MBA Council provides a voice for the executive MBA industry and a forum for programs to share best practices. Currently the council includes more than 200 educational institutions that administer 300 plus Executive MBA Programs worldwide.
The Bud Fackler Service Award recognizes contributions to the Executive MBA Council and to Executive MBA Programs worldwide, including efforts to help other programs, to share best practices, and to raise the quality of Executive MBA Programs.
