Second-Cycle University Degree

The degree of Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration is a two year university degree with the extent of 120 credits (in Finnish opintopiste). The credits are fully compatible with the ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System).

The extent of one academic year is 60 (ECTS) credits corresponding to 1600 hours of work by the student (lectures, exercises, seminars, other forms of instruction and independent work at home, in the library etc.).

In addition to the degree studies (120 credits), a student who was admitted to take the Master’s degree only may be assigned a maximum of 30 credits supplementary studies.
