Incoming Exchange Students

Welcome to the Aalto University School of Economics!

Studying as an exchange student at the Aalto University School of Economics is a challenging and exciting opportunity to enrich one's academic knowledge and professional skills. The School welcomes close to 300 exchange students for a semester or an academic year each year.

Established in 1911, the Aalto University School of Economics (previously HSE) is the largest and leading business university in Finland, offering the most comprehensive range of degrees in economics and business administration. The School of Economics (HSE) was the first university in Nordic countries to receive the "triple crown" accreditation by all three organizations - AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS - that certify business schools. The School of Economics is also a proud member of Community of European Management Schools (CEMS) and Program for International Management (PIM) and participates in the European Erasmus Programme and the NOREK network, which is a part of Nordic Nordplus Programme.

The School of Economics offers several degree programmes in English with a broad selection of courses. By implementing highly qualified scientific research and intensive company connections, the School provides a combination of extensive theoretical studies and real business life experiences. The School also organizes a broad variety of academic, cultural and other social activities which wil help exchange students meet more new friends and make professional contacts.

The international network consists of 95 partner universities in the world. The School of Economics welcomes and accepts exchange students from its partner universities only. For more information about the partner universities, please check the link below.
