Doctoral Program

A common goal for all doctoral students is the doctoral degree. From the university’s viewpoint, the doctoral degree is the final stage of researcher training.

Doctoral studies require time, at least one presentable new research idea and persistent concentration. A person who has received good researcher training has skills for scientific problem solving, and the ability to innovate, present results in international forums, and write scientific articles that conform to international requirements. In addition researcher training enables networking within the international scientific community of one’s own field. These are all skills that are required in both the practical and the academic world.
