CORPORATE SECURITY IN RUSSIA - Security and/or Productivity, 28 September 2010
The Working Group for Social Sciences under the Finnish-Russian Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation will organize its annual seminar on 28th September 2010. This year the title of the seminar is "CORPORATE SECURITY IN RUSSIA - Security and/or Productivity".
The seminar will take place from 1pm to 5pm on Tuesday, 28th September 2010 at the Aalto University School of Economics (Runeberginkatu 14-16, Helsinki).
The English-language seminar is free of charge and open to everyone interested in the topic. Participants are invited to register no later than 21st September, 2010 to Niina Saloranta via e-mail forename.surname@aalto.fi

Seminar of the Finnish Graduate School of Contemporary Asian Studies (GSAS)
CEMAT organized an intensive course for the Finnish Graduate School of Contemporary Asian Studies (GSAS) at the Aalto University School of Economics on January 18-20, 2010.
Two guest lectures on Asian economies were held on the occasion of the intensive course on January 19. Professor Joseph Y.S. Cheng (City University of Hong Kong) gave a lecture on "China's foreign policy since the 17th party congress" and Professor Claes G. Alvstam (University of Gothenburg) gave a lecture on "Interregional trade facing economic downturn: The dynamics of EU-Asia trade relations".
