The Center for Markets in Transition (CEMAT) is an innovative center of research excellence comprised of 30 research fellows from Finland and abroad, and represents part of the Aalto University School of Economics, former the Helsinki School of Economics (HSE) - the leading oldest business school in Finland.
We produce high-standard applied and academic research to meet the needs of business and society. In addition, our expertise is applied to management training, policy-making, and graduate courses. Our geographic focus includes Russia, the Baltic Sea Region, Asia, and Latin America.
