"According to a saying in London, an investment banker’s long weekend equals a Sunday off duty," says Investment Banker Sami Miettinen from SEB Enskilda, which operates in the Nordic and Baltic Countries. The HSE graduate returned to Finland at the end of last year after working in London City for 13 years.

Mikko Kosonen, President of Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, was appointed the HSE Alumnus of the Year at the Studia Economica event on March 10, 2009. The annual award is granted to a former student of Helsinki School of Economics who has actively promoted HSE as a significant actor in the economy and society, and has further advanced interaction between the business sphere and the university.

Students have a number of top universities around the world to choose from, while the brand of Aalto University is still in its early stages. However, Director of Quality and Accreditation Anne Herbert is not worried.
